It has often been said that if you take one step towards God, then God will take a hundred steps towards you. We have so many ways to take a step towards the Divine: prayer, meditation, chanting — in fact every kind of spiritual practice in every tradition. The Oneness Blessing is one way that the divine can reach out to mankind; it is a gift, a benediction of grace.

The Oneness Blessing results in a growth in consciousness. It is the phenomenon behind the work of Oneness. It is an act of energy transfer by touch or by the power of intent.

The Oneness Blessing is a non-denominational experience that transfers physical energy, awakening our connection with the oneness in everything, allowing each of us to deepen our relationship with those we love, with ourselves, with strangers and with our creator.

The Oneness Blessing initiates a neurobiological change in the brain. There are 16 centers in the brain responsible for definitive experiences like sensory perception, emotions of jealousy, hatred, fear, compassion, love, joy, separation, connectedness, creativity, learning, etc. The Oneness Blessing results in the activation of certain centers and the de-activation of certain other centers thus bringing about a shift in the perception and experience of life.

The Oneness Blessing is also found to help in the healing of the body and in the discharge of repetitive emotional patterns, resulting in greater ease and comfort with oneself.

In relationships it enables a greater sensitivity and connectedness with the other, freeing you from the limitations of your judgments and conditionings.

Success and prosperity begins with consciousness – a capacity to expand your horizon of thinking and an understanding of the universe around you, the principles governing you.


Q  What is it exactly? 

A   "Deeksha is a non-denominational Transference of Intelligent Energy". Also called the Oneness Blessing, Deeksha can be obtained from those specifically trained to offer it.  Deeksha (also spelled diksha) is a Sanskrit word, meaning benediction or invocation of divine help; in this case, a divine energy transfer. Described as a golden ball of energy descending into the head, this energy activates a shift in the brain, allowing you to realize your oneness with all creation. This is the true meaning of “enlightenment”—a state of mind that is in constant recognition of the reality of oneness. The cause of the majority of suffering in the world is a sense of separation, from the world itself, each other, and from our source. But the pure energy transferred through deeksha helps you realize that the sense of a separate self is an illusion. And, once this higher state of consciousness is attained, it is permanent. 

Humanity is at a stage of being prepared to return to our natural state of Oneness. 
Those who have attained enlightenment say it is not a mystical state that takes you out of the world, but it allows you to experience the divine in everyday life. Because of this, each time another person accepts deeksha and raises their consciousness, all of us move toward the ultimate goal of uplifting the consciousness of humanity to one of connection and unity.

To experience the divine energy transfer of deeksha, you do not need to change your lifestyle or make any vows. It is not limited to followers of any one religion, nor does it come with rules for the practice of a set of rituals.  The state of mind attained with deeksha is not one that can be pursued or attained through personal effort.  The Oneness state has nothing to do with how long you have been on a spiritual path. You don’t even need to believe in God. Enlightenment is not dependent on knowing the right teachings or mantras or whether you meditate. Deeksha is given where there is an intent for appropriate exchange; experience has shown that it is much more effective than if no exchange takes place – it is a Karmic balance.

Only someone specifically trained can activate the various centers in the brain with their energy, initiating the process of change that allows an intelligent flow of cosmic energy to elevate you into an altered state, restructuring the brain and awakening the seeker to the awareness of wholeness and oneness. Since it is a biological event, it can be experienced by anybody. It is better that the recipients have some interaction to establish a relationship with the Deeksha giver before receiving the Deeksha. This isn’t always possible but is helpful to you, feeling comfortable with the Deeksha giver helps you to trust and have faith in this divine energy exchange. We recommend people attend an Introductory Talk or meet with us before hand.

Though enlightenment doesn’t happen instantly for everyone, lives have changed significantly in terms of overall happiness, a capacity for love, and a sense of peace.
This state cannot be achieved through your own efforts. The mind cannot deactivate itself, it can only happen through DIVINE GRACE. When you see the nature of the mind and are tired of your suffering, comparing, judging and blaming, then grace can begin to flow. The Oneness Blessing is the most amazing phenomena happening today. It is a transfer of divine energy known as GRACE. Oneness Blessing Givers and all those who have undergone a specific process are now able to transfer this Oneness state to all who want to receive it. In a moment of quiet and sacred space, we place our hands on the head of an individual and in a state of divine union, we become channels for cosmic energy, which is directed by Sri Amma & Bhagavan, Avatars of Enlightenment.

The person receiving the Oneness Blessing may go into a peak experience. Everyone experiences something unique. For some the experience can take hours, days or weeks to notice a change. Once the blessing is received the state of Oneness has been planted and whatever needs to unfold will, in accordance with the readiness of your physical body and other determining factors. The process can bring up certain things necessary for us to break free – to break the patterns in our life that have been ruling us for so long. As long as you think you can make it on your own, the flow is impeded. The Oneness state is not about losing your mind. The same mind continues to exist, but now you have a different relationship with it. You are in control of the mind by becoming an observer. It is like turning on the switch and the sense of separation dissolves. You can still experience disappointments or get annoyed, but these situations will no longer affect you. In this state you discover joy and effortlessness of life. It is being in the moment, experiencing whatever you are experiencing, recognising that each ordinary moment is extraordinary in itself. Everything simply is what it is. When effort ends, the miracle can begin to happen... 

Q  What exactly is Oneness? 

A   Bhagavan: Man suffers alienation from his fellow human beings, from nature and from God; worse still from himself.

To avoid this misery he has created varied forms of escape like going out to parties, reading books, watching television, gossiping etc.  He has become an expert of managing suffering. Unless this fundamental issue is handled, there cannot be a massive transformation in the way we live and the way we experience life.  That is why, in spite of the French revolution, the American Revolution, the Russian revolution and many others, the world has not made any progress in terms of peace and happiness.

The root cause is that man is divided within and without. When this sense of division vanishes, all problems in the world - religious, social, economical, political - would dissolve.

Oneness starts basically inside oneself; this can be affected through a process of individuation. Man is divided within and he is a stranger unto himself. We do not love ourselves in the first place, let alone loving others. We are constantly divided between the good and the bad, the right and the wrong, the perfect and the imperfect, the should-be and the should-not-be. When we achieve Oneness at a fundamental level, this conflict ceases.

Then there is an inner silence, which remains undisturbed by external factors. This silence is not the opposite of noise. That is inner Oneness. This Oneness then extends to the world at large, to nature and finally with God. The ultimate vision of the Oneness Movement is to make man one with God.

Q  How is the Oneness Blessing given?

A  The Oneness Blessing is generally given when a Blessing giver places their hands on the recipient’s head for several seconds to a few minutes. It can also be given without touching the person at all, just through the power of intention. In this way the Oneness Blessing can be given to hundreds or even thousands of people at the same time.

Q  Who can offer the Oneness Blessing to others?

A  The Oneness Blessing can be transferred by anyone who has received the initiation and training during a special process conducted by a Oneness Trainer, or a Level 1 course held at the Oneness University. These people are often referred to as Oneness Blessing Givers. The Oneness Blessing Giver then works, as an empty vessel, for the energy to transfer to the recipient.

Q  Can anyone receive the benefits of the Oneness Blessing?

A  Yes. It is not necessary to attend one of the Oneness Courses in order to receive the benefits of the Oneness Blessing. Most adults and children can receive the Oneness Blessing at any time.

Q  Is the Oneness University a religion?

A   No.  The Oneness Movement has made its headway into many nations of the world. Wherever it goes, people make it their own. It has no self- nature and hence imbibes the form and structure close to the hearts of people. Like a river that flows according to the terrain, the movement harmonizes with the emotional, cultural and spiritual needs of the people of the land.

Every people are rooted in their culture and tradition. They feel disassociated and lost whenever they are no more in touch with the essence of their source. Ancient wisdom has become redundant, as it has lost its relevance in the modern context. In its multifarious approach to Oneness the movement also rejuvenates the ancient traditions of the world taking from them the truth that is shrouded behind their symbolism. Every form of practice, ritual and faith has its own unique place in the divine scheme. They represent a specific aspect of consciousness and connect us to it.

The movement does not intend to produce any synchristic faith by lumping all the ancient systems together. It intends to take back every faith to its pristine purity because every form of religion is sourced in a spiritual experience.

Hence the movement has no independent existence in terms of God, teaching, a code of conduct, or practices that it professes. It strengthens our existing faith by transforming it into a reality through a personal experience.
